Active Forms with Dynamic Columns
Active Forms with Dynamic Columns
Active Forms with Dynamic Columns allow column consolidations to expand and collapse — the same behaviour as row consolidations in standard Active Forms.
How to Insert an Active Form with Dynamic Columns
Right-click on a cell in Excel.
Select Insert Active Form from the Slice context menu.
Select the P&L_Flash view from the General Ledger cube.
Insert it into a new sheet.
Expanding and Collapsing Columns
Once inserted, you will see a "+" sign next to consolidated elements across the columns. Click the "+" to expand, or "–" to collapse them — the same behaviour as row consolidations.
All other Active Form functionality (Paste Range, Annotations, Cell Audit, Trace Rules, etc.) works identically to a standard Active Form.
