Uninstalling Slice for TM1
This article explains how to uninstall Slice from your computer.
Prerequisites
Important: Ensure Microsoft Excel is fully closed before starting the uninstallation process. Uninstalling while Excel is running may cause errors or leave files behind.
Uninstall Steps
If Slice Was Installed Using the Installer
Navigate to the Slice installation folder. The default location is:
Locate the Uninstall.exe file in this folder.
Double-click Uninstall.exe to launch the uninstaller.
When prompted, confirm the correct installation location for removal.
Follow the on-screen steps to complete the uninstallation.
Once the process is finished, close the dialog.
After Uninstalling
After the uninstaller completes:
The Slice ribbon will no longer appear in Microsoft Excel.
Slice settings and log files stored in
%AppData%\Roaming\ArcForTM1are not automatically removed. You can manually delete this folder if you want to remove all Slice data.
