Enable VBA

You need to Enable VBA to run VBA macro functions. Each button (Excel shape) has a function attached to it.

Trust access to the VBA project object model must be enabled in order to create VBA script programmatically. This is applicable to buttons creation and conversion.

Both options are found in Excel under File → Options → Trust Center → Trust Center Settings → Macro Settings.
