Star Schema
To allow for filtering and to apply element level security in the Power BI Service, tables in the data set need to be joined together.
In the example the following tables are used:
Years: Elements and attributes of the “Years” dimension.
Stores: Element and attributes of the “Stores” dimension.
Store Security: Element security information.
Budget All Releases: Fact table containing columns for elements and measures.
