Hierarchies in DBH and DBHW formulas

Two new formulas to support hierarchies have been added to Slice. DBH and DBHW formulas work like the equivalent DBR and DBRW formulas, but are hierarchy aware. The syntax for DBH and DBHW formulas is as follows: *

=@DBHW(TM1RptView-Reference,"DimensionName1:Hierarchy",$C$11,"2,"DimensionName2:Hierachy”,...)

DBHW formulas can be easily generated instead of DBRW formulas. Slice will automatically generate DBHW formulas in the data area instead of DBRW when a view contains references to hierarchies.

Go back to the previous excel export as slice of the P&L_2 view from the General Ledger cube and notice how all the data area has DBHW formulas.
